Isaiah Scott channeled his inner Kal-El for this Air Jordan IV of which he created as part of Nike’s Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. Despite his condition, he is just like other boys his age and enjoys doing the things they do like playing video games and eating cookies. His mother often called him Superman because he was strong as steel during his treatments and Warner Brothers was so touched by his story that they cleared their logo for usage which is something they rarely do. Various shades of green throughout the shoe symbolize Superman’s weakness, kryptonite, but Isaiah has proven that even that green rock can’t stop him. In addition to his silhouette, personalizations such as the number seven on the outsole represents his favorite number. Check out the new images of the Air Jordan IV ‘Doernbecher’ after the jump and let us know if you plan on getting a pair this Saturday.
