Back in 2001, the Air Jordan III retroed in multiple colorways with the ‘Black Cement’ and ‘True Blue’ being among them. The ‘True Blue’ III is unique in that of the Air Jordan IIIs it is the only one with elephant print around the lacing tabs however this wouldn’t have been the case had this sample released instead. The Air Jordan III ‘True Blue’ sample is a 1:1 replica of the 2001 retro with one major difference, there is perforated leather instead of elephant print around the lacing tabs. The removal of the elephant print makes the ‘True Blue’ III like any other Air Jordan III and while it is a key difference, the colorway would have done well regardless as the Air Jordan III is a very popular model. Check out the sample after the jump and head over the auction from poofyo101jumpmansneakers on eBay.
