Sure to be NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton was introduced as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers during the Summer of 2003 to help them in their quest for a fourth title in five years. Unfortunately for Payton and the Lakers, that partnership didn’t work out as they fell to the Detroit Pistons in five games during the NBA Finals.
